HOLISTIC BODY MASSAGE PRACTITIONERS
DIPLOMA COURSE
This course is for beginners or existing therapists. The day is designed to give you the information and knowledge to leave and start practicing your new treatment. You will learn all the different massage moves and how to apply them incorporating a full body massage and how to adapt to individual areas. On successful completion of the course you will be able to gain insurance to do paying clients.

COURSE CONTENT
Two day intensive course.
The first day covers:
- Health & Safety regulations
- Hygiene procedures
- Contra-indications
- Contra- actions
- Diseases and disorders
- Consultations and client care
- Treatment products and equipment
- Treatment procedures
- After care advice
- How to market yourself
- Insurance
- An extensive manual
The second day is arranged by mutual agreement and can be a week time or an evening to suit. At this session, a written test is submitted along with case studies. You will then be required to carry out a full body massage on your model, which will be assessed as part of your course.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
No previous experience is necessary.
CLASS SIZE
We only have small classes with no more than 6 students per class. This ensures individual attention.
MODELS
No models are required on the first day; students will work on each other. Second day (formal assessment) a model is required.
COURSE TIMES
10.00am – 3:30pm Weekdays
10.00am – 3:30pm Weekends
EXAMINATION SYSTEM
A written test is taken as part of your course. You are assessed by continual observation throughout the day, to ensure that you have all the knowledge that you will need. You will need to carry out five case studies before your second day of training. You are formally assessed on your second day of training.
